A Professional Private Equity Fund (FPCI) is an investment vehicle reserved for professional or quasi-professional investors (minimum ticket EUR 100,000). It enables investment in unlisted companies with a favourable tax framework. On Caption, FPCIs are managed by Clint Capital, our AMF-licensed AMC.
A Venture Capital Fund (FCPR) is a fund accessible to retail investors from EUR 1,000. It invests primarily in unlisted companies.
The FPCI is reserved for professional or quasi-professional investors (EUR 100,000 minimum) with more investment flexibility. The FCPR is accessible to all investors (from EUR 1,000) within a more regulated framework. Both provide exposure to unlisted assets.
ELTIF 2.0 (European Long-Term Investment Fund) is a new European framework facilitating retail investor access to long-term investments in the real economy. It removes the minimum ticket requirement and enables cross-border distribution across Europe.
The Group's funds are managed by Clint Capital, an Asset Management Company licensed by the AMF under number GP-20240014. Clint Capital is a 100% subsidiary of the Caption Group, specialising in the management of unlisted asset investment funds.
Duration varies by fund: 5 to 10 years on average for FPCIs and FCPRs. This long duration is inherent to unlisted asset investment and maximises value creation. Capital is not available before the fund's maturity.
